PSP Go: There’s no external battery

Why PSP Go can not be like previous PSP console to replace the battery? Playstation Insider,Sony Computer Entertainment America president John Koller said, “You won’t be able to rip your games and play them on the system, the firmware precludes that.”
“There’s no external battery, so there’s a number of protections put into place on the system.”
Without the ability to install the Pandora Battery, hackers and pirates should have a much harder time modifying their system. At least, that’s what Sony is hoping.
