In the past month, a number of Mac OS X users reflected they loss personal data when they login their account. Apple said they are actively looking for solutions.
This is the first time, Apple said the investigation and study of the issue. Early in September, a few Mac users in Apple’s discussion forums reflect the problem. The problem is this: first, log on to the guest account, then log the user’s own account, they found that all users’ data has been lost and their accounts completely reset.
This data loss is the Snow Leopard’s another flaw. Snow Leopard has caused some inconvenience to users since its launch, including the Finder crash, some applications are not compatible, the wireless connection dropped.

Apple Acknowledged this news, and I’ve found the solution to resolve this bug on Cnet. Technorotic(Quote) (Reply)
