In layman terms,a smartphone is similar to a pocket PC in that it runs an operating system software and provides an interface that allows its owner to modify smartphone settings and run software programs. Now, I wil share some tips with you in this article.
Smartphones are the evolutionary product of cell phones and personal digital assistants. The smartphone should involves the basic features such as email, internet capabilities,camera,storage, the ability to synchronize data between devices, etc.
Software
A SmartPhone can support email access and web surfing to get your information from your main office computer.With it , you can do your work when you are on road.
Operating systems is very important to a smartphone,Windows Mobile OS, Symbian OS, Palm OS, and Blackberry especially the Symbian are the operating systems that most phone manufacturers like most. While it is also true that the operating system you are accustomed to is the best.
Hardware
The larger screen, the better. Many people will agree that watching a video on a 2.5″ screen with a screen resolution of up to 640 x 480 pixels is less comfortable than a larger screen but less pixels (480 x 320).
Another important consideration on choosing a smartphone is data entry. Many people will find the problem that your fingers are too big to be able to type messages on the tiny keys. So,a QWERTY keyboard may be a good choice which make it easier for you to type long messages and faster to compose short ones.
2 megapixels or more of a camera is good. Though there are cameras of up to 5 megapixels, you can’t regard it as a professional camera.
To get a smartphone with a memory card slot that can be expanded, the expansion slot helps to increase memory when you want to store more files or you are into multimedia and music.
You can choose a smartphone with the wireless connectivity options :BlueTooth, infrared, or WiFi which makes a vast array or bluetooth accessories such as wireless keyboards , mice,handsfree headsets and wireless stereo headsets possible.
You can choose smartphones containing the following message:
- large screen,qwerty keyboard,camera of high megapixels, memery card that can be extented.
- accessing e-mail and web-surfing anywhere, anytime.
- with portable multimedia-device, easying to play videos and music.
- Variety of accessories such as wireless connectivity,GPS navigation.
When you buy a smartphone, you should decide which features fit your needs best, and take the price into consideration too. I hope these can help you to choose a right smartphone.
