Released in 2007, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W200 digital camera is still popular in  market. Why it could attract so many consumers? Let us go to have a look: Offering direct connection to an HDTV, Sony Cyber-shot W-series camera is ideal for integrating full 1080 HD photo-viewing into a home theater. And the Cybershot DSC-W200 camera is the top of its line and is the most compact 12-megapixel camera. What attracts me most is the mode in Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W200. It offers an excellent range of options when coming to exposure. You can choose between full Auto, Program, and Manual exposure modes, or select from nine available preset Scene modes,which are very funy and useful, espeacially for the greenhand. In Manual exposure mode, you can set the shutter speed as you like from 1/1,000 to 30 seconds, and Noise Reduction automatically enables for exposures longer than 1/4 second. Just press down on the middle button of the Four-way Arrow pad, then use the up and down arrow keys of the Manual mode, you can change the shutter speed and aperture setting easily. The LCD monitor reflects the projected exposure, which is also helpful.Besides,the Cyber-shot W200 has a Movie mode for recording short movies with sound at 640 x 480 or 320 x 240 pixels, with two quality options at the larger resolution. It also features a Burst continuous shooting mode to capture sharp images of action subjects.

The pros: Compact, great overall color,attractive design; optical image-stabilizer; manual exposure mode.
The cons: strong contrast under harsh lighting, image-processing artifacts; LCD has poor off-angle viewing; proprietary USB cable.
Editor’opinion: Just for about $200, you can get such a digital camera. If you do not have very high demand towards the performance, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W200 is your best choice.
