We have roughly talked about Lenovo ThinkPad X200 before (Laptop Lenovo Thinkpad x200 Review). Today, more details about the Lenovo ThinkPad X200 will be talked about. As we know, Lenovo thinkpad x200 portable notebook is popular for its beautiful design and multi-function. It has excellent quality for built-in System Update that is easy to update software.
The x200’s display is a 12.1 widescreen ultraportable which features a sharp 1,280×800 native resolution that’s usually on 14.1-inch or even 15.4-inch displays. Its dimension is 29.5cm x 21.1cm – 23.4cm x 3.6cm. Weighing in around 3.8lbs with the 8-cell extended battery, this 12.1″ tablet is still light and thin enough to take where ever you go.

ThinkPad X200 has plenty of room for the keyboard, it’s wider case is suitable for the same keyboard used on Lenovo’s 14- and 15-inch ThinkPads. So it’s comfortable for typing with no adjustments necessary for smaller keys you often find on ultraportables. The Shift and Enter buttons are full sized. We are using the Enter button so frequently, so I think no people will deny this perfect design. While the Fn keys across the top are separated in sections, we will get used to it just for a period. And the PgUp, PgDn, Home and End keys are the same way.

The ThinkPad X200 has a typical trackpoint. When you get used to it, you will find it is your best choice. The red rubber nub has nice grip and your finger just needs to move a little bit to navigate. The standard pen is great. The pen can be used comfortably and with good feedback. It even has an eraser, it is a convenient feature when you make a mistake.

The ThinkPad X200 adopted the “owl-like” fan design which can ruduce the heat and noise. The fan works quietly and well , you could hold the tablet for hours and not be bothered by excessive heat. You can put your hand up to the heat vent area, you can feel that the laptop si still cool.

The x200 is available for the various wireless connectivities such as Wi-Fi , WWAN and BlueTooth. The x200 is availanle for the Intel WiFi Link 5100, WiFi Link 5300, Intel WiMAX/WiFi Link 5350 and ThinkPad 11b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Express.

Another option with the X200 is Bluetooth. It’s definitely a good function for those that want to use a wireless Bluetooth mouse or pair the X200 with a PDA or Smart Phone device. GPS option is also built-in.

There is a choice of built-in WWAN for the ThinkPad X200. As every x200 has this function,so what you should do is place it into the lid area. There is no doubt that there will be an increasing need to use this function.

Our ThinkPad X200 contains a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 processor and integrated Intel GMA X4500 HD graphics. It’s Intel Core 2 Duo processor ripped through various business applications including Microsoft Office 2007 and Microsoft Project among others. The x200 comes with a 100GB (7200 rpm) hard drive, 2GB of RAM ( upgradable to 4GB)

Moreover, the X200’s functions are various. On the left side of the laptop, there are power jack, heat vent, USB port, monitor-out port, Gigabit Ethernet, USB port, ExpressCard 54mm slot, wireless on-off switch .
