I got epc yesterday. It works great. The wireless internet is a little slow compared to other laptops, but it works. The only downside to this netbook is that it doesn’t have flash support for viewing websites. So, good luck playing pandora/youtube/playing flash games on the internet. Andrew(Quote) (Reply)

I’ve got three of these and none can connect to the Wireless Network. Wired works fine.
They see the SSID and have excellent signal strength.
There is not a whole lot to configure really on the Wireless Tool on the NetBook.
Yes, I know what DHCP is and it’s not dynamically getting an IP Address. Even with Open Encryption.
I’m a techie and I’m having issue locating a solution to this, though I have located lots of problems like this.
Windows CE 6.0 is the version.
128MB Ram and 2GB HD.

I have one of these. In order to use the Wifi, you have to turn on the “WiFi Power” on the desktop. This is your built in Wifi antenna. Click teh icon and press “Turn On” then you can use the Wifi icon in the taskbar to search for a signal.
And the USB ports can be used for flash drives.
It’s a nice lil’ machine for taking notes in a class or checking your email. I’ve surfed Facebook with mine. It’s a bit slow compared to a desktop PC, but it’s not as powerful either! Bruno(Quote) (Reply)

Erin no you do not have to be connected to the internet to use the netbook. I use mine in class all the time to take notes. and you dont have to pay for internet to get online if thats what you are talking about. lots of places have free wifi. try McDonald’s or other fast food places.
