Apple iPad 2 is still not surfaced, but there is another upcoming competitor-HP TouchPad, which is revealed on Feb 10. HP TouchPad comes with WebOS, 9.7-inch screen, Qualcomm dual-core processor, and Beats Audio technology. Meanwhile, HP TouchPad also can support Flash and video chat. However, HP TouchPad is expected to go retail on this summer, which is later than Apple iPad 2 that is rumored to release on Apr 2011.

HP TouchPad will strong enough to rival Apple iPad, because Palm has the same online software shop, business mode as Apple, while the software and hardware of HP TouchPad also stays the same level with Apple iPad 2. Additionally, HP TouchPad is also available for 1.3 megapixels webcam, light sensor, acceleratory sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope and Beats Audio System.
As same as Apple iPad, HP TouchPad has the 3G + Wi-Fi version and Wi-Fi only version, while the 3G version is available for A-GPS. In addition, HP TouchPad minimum weight is 740, heavier than iPad 680 g.

As to the ports, HP TouchPad is available for the USB 3.0 and HDMI port, which the iPad also doesn’t have.
HP TouchPad also supports WiFi, WCDMA, CDMA, LTE, the latter three of which support A-GPS. Regarding to the battery life, it’s expected to last at least 5 hours, which is on the condition of opening communication function.

The 3G version of HP TouchPad support message and real-time communication as well as video chat with the front-facing camera.
