The Motorola XT800 is an Android smartphone with a 3.7-inch touchscreen display and probably Android version 2.1 as Operating System.
According to the folk in the cell phone market, the successor of Droid that Motorola Droid 2 will be launched on August 23rd. The Motorola Droid 2 is estimated as the first cell phone shipped with Android 2.2 out of the box. While Droid X with Android 2.1will be launched in July 15th that is about a month earlier than Droid 2, it seems like Motorola wants Droid 2 to have Froyo from the get-go.
