DSi LL Sales Threefold More Than Sony PSP Go

According to the Japanese Kotaku, Nintendo announced the DSi LL sales in Japanese today. The sales number has up to 103,524 units since the Sunday. Nintendo DSi LL which with the price of 211 U.S. dollars has sold three times more than Sony PSP Go which price is 250 U.S. dollars. The current performance of PSP Go is only around 28,000 units. Nintendo not phasing out solus DS Lite units

Nintendo has told GamesIndustry.biz that it is not phasing out all solus DS units in the UK ahead of the launch of the DSi.

As we’ve seen, fluctuations in exchange rates are messing with Nintendo’s bottom line in the UK. While this won’t affect consumers looking for a Wii, the DS might be another story.

According to a “trusted source within the retail industry” (ie a British retailer), Go Nintendo are reporting that thanks to shrinking profit margins on Nintendo hardware the DS is about to go bundle-only.
